A Delaware Native, Leeanne Rocheleau founded Luxe + Lovely Events, in 2013, after years of planning a variety of weddings + shindigs for those closest to her. Having graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Health Studies, she worked several years in Healthcare Administration, Sales + Marketing. Over the years, while the passion was simply just a creative outlet for her, she learned first-hand how to adapt in high stress level situations, hone in on her listening skills, excel at time-management, and extensively plan goal budgeting, all later proving invaluable while running her own business. Her creative nature kept pushing her to do more, and while she wanted to follow her passions and give back to the community in some way, she just wasn’t sure how. She began researching avenues she could take to achieve that desire. One day, after feeling somewhat anxious on what direction to take, she was shopping at a tiny home furnishings boutique, while vacationing on Cape Cod, and read a quote that instantly sparked an “ah ha” moment. “If you had to chase a dream, what would it be?” It was in that moment that she instantly knew. It sounded so simply, but she realized she could give back happiness and peace of mind to others while following her own creative passion of planning events , making design visions come to life, styling wedding and shindigs to look flawlessly chic, and being the out of the box creative thinker she’s known for – all of which friends and family had been encouraging her to use those talents for, for years. With very little running a business knowledge, Leeanne’s used her talent, experience and drive to send her full throttle into creating what is now Luxe + Lovely Events by pursuing a program back in 2013 to become a Certified Wedding and Event Planner. It’s been non-stop since.
